Robert B. Knauss has served as a member of our Board since October 2022. He is a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, where he currently advises on legal, policy, regulatory and compliance matters. Mr. Knauss joined Warburg Pincus in 2013 and served as its General Counsel from 2013 to 2020. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Knauss was a Corporate Partner at the firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP (“MTO”) in Los Angeles, where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities and private equity. Prior to joining MTO in 1981, he served as a Law Clerk for Justice William H. Rehnquist of the Supreme Court of the United States and the Honorable Walter R. Mansfield of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Knauss holds a B.A. from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Knauss was selected to serve on our Board because of his significant experience overseeing legal, regulatory and compliance matters, his knowledge of overseas markets, and his expertise with respect to corporate responsibility, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management.
